Crepes with cherry marmalade

 

 

Recipe ingredients (for 12 crepes)

 

  • 2 teacups milk
  • 1 teacup all purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.6gr. vanilla powder
  • ¾-1 tablespoon sugar
  • ½ teacup butter
  • 300gr. Cherry marmalade
  • ½ teacup icing sugar

 

 

Recipe instructions

 

  • Add the eggs and the sugar in a cooking basin. Beat all the ingredients very well.
  • Pour slowly the milk. Continue with the procedure.
  • Sift the flour and mix it with the vanilla powder.
  • Pour slowly the eggs mixture in the flour stirring all the time until all the ingredients become homogenized. (You can use the mixer here)
  • Set the stove temperature at 2.5/3. Place a frying pan at the stove.
  • Add ½ tablespoon of butter in the frying pan.
  • When the butter melts, use a cooking brush in order to spread the butter.
  • Afterwards use a ladle and pour some of the crepes mixture in the frying pan.
  • Shake the frying pan for better results.
  • Fry the crepe until golden brown.
  • Use a wooden ladle to check the frying result.
  • Change sides and fry the other side.
  • At the end pour the marmalade over the crepes.
  • Fold the crepes like the photos.
  • Sprinkle with the powdered sugar.
